The lecturers from Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) and guest speakers not only explained theoretical approaches, they also presented concrete examples of implementation from science, business and everyday life.

The lecture series itself has been running since 2021 with different emphases. The combination of regional focus and digital accessibility makes the series particularly attractive.T

he online format entered its fifth round in February 2025. The focus was on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI). In view of everyday problems in local public transport, SiZhong Hu (THI) gave the fitting opening lecture “What are autonomous shuttles and how can they be integrated into local public transport?”. In five subsequent presentations, the speakers and participants explored the use of AI in mobility and quality assurance in production. Last but not least, they showed how educational skills, cultural practices and didactic approaches can support transformation. The imagination of future literacy plays an important role here, as this competence makes it possible to anticipate and creatively shape the future.
